With a sizable federal budget, they will process thousands of cases against private and public sector firms. Since 2008, they have asked to significantly increase their budget to pursue more cases. If I were the President in this case I would agree with the Commission if the cases they processed were showing actual discrimination in employment practices.  Everyone needs the same opportunity for employment however the best qualified should be offered the job.  When I was part of the hiring team at a previous employer we use to document why we hired individuals to have a statement ready showing out of the group of applicant the person we hired was the most qualified.
